De drie leden van Vulcano Trio komen uit Oostenrijk, Tsjechië en Polen. In hun spel gebruiken ze preparatietechnieken en alternatieve articulatietechnieken. Tegelijk blijven ze trouw aan de traditie van vrije improvisatie, free jazz en hedendaags gecomponeerde muziek. Ieder bandlid brengt vanuit zijn eigen achtergrond zijn specifieke geluid in.
