Delphine Dora is a prolific pianist and improviser from France. An eclectic explorer of language and sound, Delphine is one of the most curious and surprising souls on the European avant-folk scene, capable of forging a musical universe in constant metamorphosis, arranged between several languages (English, French, German, Russian, imaginary languages) and genres such as minimalism, improvisation, electroacoustic and folk.
Equally at home with old pipe organs, synthesizers and keyboards, immersed in the atmosphere of churches and nature, Dora often becomes the voice of a place, at once embodied and ghostly, intimate and experimental. Exploring the subconscious of folk in forms of bliss both abstract and real, timeless ceremonies woven from voice and piano, rural sounds, electronic intuitions and barely perceptible drones. Close to Christina Carter, Brigitte Fontaine and Meredith Monk, Delphine Dora seems to evoke the American minimalists as much as Satie and Debussy.

Koude
The subdued music of Koude combines elements of free folk, drone, ambient and slowcore in quietly impressive ways. In this regard, Michiel Klein, Keimpe Koldijk en Ester Venema are building on their previous collaborations in acts such as Blessum (Vrystaete), Eklin (Night People) and Mike Koldin (Samling). The trio makes use of electric guitar, bass guitar, synthesizer, minimal percussion and vocals. Koude's debut album will be released on Minorie in April.

Delphine Dora is een productieve pianiste en improvisator uit Frankrijk en al jarenlang een van de meest nieuwsgierige en verrassende verschijningen in de Europese avant-folk scene. Ze is in staat om een muzikaal universum te creëren dat constant in beweging blijft in verschillende talen (Engels, Frans, Duits, Russisch en denkbeeldige talen) en genres als minimalisme, improvisatie, elektro-akoestisch en folk.
Ze voelt zich thuis op zowel piano als kerkorgels, synthesizers en keyboards. Opgaand in de atmosfeer van kerken en natuur smelt haar stem vaak samen met haar omgeving, als een belichaming ervan en geestverschijning in één. Het zijn verkenningen van het onbewuste in folk muziek, zowel abstract als aards, intiem en experimenteel. Tijdloze rituelen opgebouwd uit stem, piano, landelijke omgevingsgeluiden en subtiele elektronische lagen en nauwelijks hoorbare drones. Dichtbij gelijkgestemden zoals Christina Carter, Birgit Fontaine en Meredith Monk roept Delphine Dora zowel de Amerikaanse minimalisten op als Satie en Debussy.

Het trio maakt gebruik van elektrische gitaar, basgitaar, synthesizers, spaarzame percussie en vocalen. Debuutalbum verschijnt 3 april als cassette en download op Minorie.
