The Selva is een Portugees trio bestaande uit Ricardo Jacinto (cello, elektronica), Gonçalo Almeida (contrabas, elektronica) en Pedro Oliveira (percussie, elektronica). Het trio verweeft improvisatie, elektro-akoestiek en minimalisme tot hypnotiserende, evoluerende soundscapes.
