Si Paton speelt geïmproviseerde solo's op geprepareerde basgitaar. Zijn werk put inspiratie uit de tradities van free jazz, harsh noise, metal, hardcore punk, 20e-eeuwse klassieke muziek en Fluxus. Gewapend met meerdere distortionpedalen, schroevendraaiers, drumstokken, potloden en alles wat de vorige band op het podium achterliet, creëert hij meeslepende optredens die het ene moment bestaan uit virtuoze free jazz en het volgende moment uit dichte muren van harsh noise.

Javier Villegas Javier is geboren in Valladolid, Spanje, in 2001 en woonachtig in Tilburg, waar hij oorspronkelijk naartoe kwam om te studeren aan het conservatorium. Als saxofonist en performer werkt Javier de afgelopen jaren nauw samen met andere disciplines zoals dans en circus. Two solo improvisers with a theatrical approach

Si Paton performs improvised solo prepared bass guitar. His work draws from the traditions of free jazz, harsh noise, metal, hardcore punk, 20th century classical and Fluxus. Armed with multiple distortion pedals, screwdrivers, drumsticks, pencils, and anything that the previous band left onstage, he has crafted compelling performances that consist of virtuosic free jazz one minute, dense walls of harsh noise.

Javier Villegas was born in Valladolid, Spain, in 2001 and lives in Tilburg, where he originally came to study at the conservatory. As a saxophonist and performer, Javier has collaborated closely with other disciplines in recent years, such as dance and circus. This translates into a highly theatrical approach in his solo performances, using texts and audience interaction.
